Who we are
Wellkept is a trading name of Wellkept Goods Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC900850. Our registered office is 48 West George Street, Glasgow G2 1BP, United Kingdom. We sell lighting, clocks and planters online at wellkeptgoods.co.uk. You can reach us at hello@wellkeptgoods.co.uk.
These terms
These are the terms on which we sell to you. Please read them before you order. Nothing here removes or limits your legal rights as a consumer — where these terms and the law disagree, the law wins.
Placing an order
When you place an order you are making us an offer to buy. We accept it when we email you to say your order has been dispatched, and the contract is formed at that point rather than when you click pay.
If we cannot supply something we will tell you and refund you in full. That occasionally happens when stock moves faster than a listing updates.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are the total you pay for the goods. Delivery is shown separately at checkout before you commit to anything.
We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and we cannot issue a VAT invoice.
We take payment when you order. If a price is obviously wrong — an error rather than a bargain — we will contact you before dispatching rather than simply cancelling on you.
Delivery
We deliver to United Kingdom addresses only. What it costs and how long it takes is set out in our delivery policy.
Goods become your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us. They become your property once we have received payment in full.
Cancelling and returning
You have a 14-day right to change your mind, and separate rights if something is faulty. The detail is in our returns and cancellations policy, which forms part of these terms.
Faulty goods
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. Our returns policy explains how to tell us and what happens next.
Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your statutory rights as a consumer.
Beyond that, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
We sell to consumers. If you buy for a business purpose, the consumer protections in these terms and in consumer law do not apply to you, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
Things outside our control
If something genuinely beyond our control delays your order we will tell you, and you can cancel for a full refund. We would rather do that than leave you waiting without an explanation.
Complaints
Email hello@wellkeptgoods.co.uk. We aim to reply within one working day and to sort things out without either of us needing to escalate.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country you live in.
